Rafael Moreno Valle: Corporate Strategy and Corporate Communication Advisor
Besides his role a a BC-ET advisor, Rafael Moreno Valle is the founder of Elek, Moreno Valle y Asociados, an investment banking firm in Mexico City that works for the largest and most successful companies in that country. There he has created and implemented merger and acquisitions strategies, crisis management and financial restructuration for companies in industries such as consumer, cement, steal, telecommunications, petrochemical, entertainment, among others.
During his professional career, Rafael has been known for his work in Mexico and on an international scale. He was CEO of Citibak in Belgium, Luxemburg, Italy, Malta and San Marino. As an investment banker he has participated in several projects in North America, The Caribbean, Central America, South America and Europe.
In Mexico, where he lives, he was CEO of Citibank and Grupo Akalli.
Besides his work as an investment banker, he is a member and chairman of the board of several companies that have been distinguished for having successful, creative and innovative business strategies such as: Grupo Petroquímico Beta, Hoteles City Express and Fomento Agroindustrial Progresemos.
Rafael graduated from the National University of Mexico (UNAM) with a BA in Accounting and holds an MBA from Columbia University.
